What are 2 fun facts about you?

I speak German fluently, so I am obligated to go into the auto industry.
I like to be around people that are also smart, so I found robotics a great place to go.

Why did you join the Adambots?

I joined because it seemed to me that I could learn about engineering. Also, I thought I would be able to meet people with the same interests as me.

What is your favorite memory from robotics?

My best memory of this team was definitely going with team members to the event in Niles last year. This was an excellent experience for me because it showed me the ideals of FIRST and the reasons that people devote so much time to this program.

What have you learned from being on the team?

I have learned how to work with other people better. The group experience of FIRST allows people to collaborate on building the robot, and build something better than they could have done themselves. I also have learned how to manage my time due to all of the time that is required for the team.

What is special about FIRST?

FIRST is special because the program encompasses the entire nation. At some of the competitions we can meet people who come from all places around the world. Last year, I met a robotics team that came from Hawaii.
