The AdamBots were represented by four of our students and two of our mentors when they attended the 9^th annual National Advocacy Conference (NAC) June 26^th to June 28^th held in Washington D.C.

The conference, presented by the Student Association for STEM Advocacy (SASA), helps students develop skills to build relationships with elected officials while learning to be an effective advocate for STEM.

They met in person with staff members from Representative Elissa Slotkin and Senator Gary Peters offices and had a zoom meeting with staff from Senator Debbie Stabenow’s office.

The conference also gave the students the opportunity to interact with other FIRST teams and ended with a reception for all the SASA NAC attendees.
