Year you started mentoring the team:  2024

Sub-teams: Website and Safety

What are 2 fun facts about you?

I enjoy taking sports-action photography. Parents love to see images of their kids doing something that they love. Capturing a great athletic moment for a student is really special. I also just got into BEDAZZLING!!! 😀 Yes – I’m in my bedazzle ERA! I do paint-by-number canvases to bedazzle and the entire process is very calming and peaceful.

Why did you join the AdamBots?

I started supporting the AdamBots casually in 2017 when my oldest son was on the team. I discovered that it is such an exciting program and a great community of motivated students. Now that my younger son is on the team, I decided to support the AdamBots formally by mentoring the website and safety sub teams.

What is your favorite memory from robotics?

Every trip to SVSU for States is an exciting and memorable competition – the energy is incredible. I especially like seeing all the students that we know from other schools who we’ve been competing with for years. We’re all on this incredible journey together!

What have you learned from being on the team?

When you give a student the opportunity to do something special, they will often exceed expectations!

Do you have any tips for the current AdamBots?

Be like a proton and stay positive!
