2025 SASA National Advocacy Conference
At the 2025 National Advocacy Conference, we met with Representatives John James and Haley Stevens, staff for Representative Elissa Slotkin, Senator Gary Peters, and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. We explained and advocated for the Every Student Succeeds Act, which aims to ensure equitable, high-quality education for all students. We also proposed an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act to give more funding to STEM programs across the country.
