What is your favorite robotics memory? Hearing the beginning of the Team's Chairman's entry being read to the arena and knowing that we had finally accomplished the goal of receiving a Regional Chairman's Award. Sacramento - UC Davis Regional 2006

What or who got you involved? Both of my sons were on the 2000 team and Mr. Drummer and I traveled with the team to Nationals in Florida. In 2001 with a new teacher on board, I was asked to help with the organization of the team. I've been here since.

Where did you graduate from? Wright State University in Dayton, OH with a BS in Education

Where do you work today and what do you do? I volunteer for lots of things, I haven't had a paying job in about 10 years.

Interest and hobbies: I am very active with Boy Scout Troop 360 as the Advancement Chair. A position I have had for 12 years. I am also a Team Captain for the Relay for Life, a cancer research fundraiser. Hobbies would include reading, computer games and my puppy, Bailey.

One message for future FIRST students: Take advantage of the unique learning opportunities there are on this team. You can get real world experiences working with the Mentors. Get involved and look for jobs to do. Take a proactive approach with your time.
