OCCRA 2006: Teeter Totter Torment
Contents |
Game Rules
This year's game is based around yellow playground balls of varying sizes - (VERIFY) Respectively, 6", 10", 13", 16" in diameter. Eight 16" balls are on the field at the start of the match. In the middle of the field is a platform with ramps on either side of it. Next to this platform is a teeter totter divided in the middle. The teeter totter also has tortion bars that point towards the side that is not by the platform. Any team may tip the teeter totter by either putting balls in it, which are scored, or pushing the tortion bars. Also, there are two mobile goals, one for either team. These goals can be moved if one side is picked up.
The field is divided into two zones, the scoring zone, and the no-score zone. The human players are nearest to the no-score zone. When the mobile goal is in the no-score zone, none of the balls inside of it are scored. When the mobile goal is in the score zone, the balls inside are scored. Each alliance has two human players, one of which must throw balls to the other. The other has some form of launcher that must be used to shoot the balls into the robot or the mobile goal.
