John Dong and Pat Pannuto want a logout button. Several members of the team agree, according to recent interviews. However, there is some controversy. "I think it's frivolous," said David Pendock. "If you want to log out, you can just close the window." More on this situation as it develops.

(9/28/05): Re: TOC Format

It seems to me that the proper placement of a TOC depends largely on the purpose and scope of the page to which it belongs. For instance, if the page is an in-depth How-To guide, the TOC should precede and include the introduction. A post-introduction TOC is appropriate on smaller pages, such as sub-team homepages. Special pages, such as this very news page, are best suited for pre-introduction TOCs that do not include the introduction. Rather than adhering to a strict regime of TWiki-society taboo on pre-introduction TOCs, use your common sense.

EDIT:

Now that I have seen the reformatted news page, I agree that it works fine under the Standard page design.

(9/27/05): TOC Format

As good as TOC moving wars are for our post counts, they need to stop. I believe the currently supported use of the TOC is after the introduction section with the introduction removed from the list. Please use this format throughout your posts and edits.
