FIRST Build 2010

Week 1We worked on finalizing our design and prototyping several different ideas. A generic base was completed and several concepts were tested. The CAD Team also started mocking up several of these designs. The Website Team also did some work updating and adding pictures. | |
| Week 2Due to exam week we've been running slower than usual. The robot base/chassis is done. We've prototyped a kicker and really like the way it feels. | |
| Week 3The robot design has been finalized in AutoCAD. We have ordered the needed materials. The team has begun to finalize an arm design. The team also has started work on the kicker and control board. | |
| Week 4We have started to finish up the kicker and the control board. The Programming Team has been having a little trouble getting the software up and running but they think they've finally got it working. We also worked hard on the arm. | |
| Week 5On Thursday night, we took a break from building this year's robot and took Olympia (decorated FIRST 2010) robot to a local elementary school, University Hills, to show it at their science fair. As for our 2010 robot, Veronika, we finished the arm and the programming and the the robot has really started to come together. | |
| Week 6We made some final touches on the robot and practiced with the FEDS (Team 201). We also did another elementary school science fair demonstration, this time at Delta Kelly. |
