Robot Design

We have one or more major designing meetings early in the FIRST season. Our design meeting(s) consist of an enormous brainstorm with paper and a white board, lasting for several hours the day of or the day after the FIRST Season kickoff. The meeting is in an open format, so any team member can suggest any robot design, regardless of his/her team standing.

Adams High School

Much of the actual construction, meeting, strategy, and design work occurs at regular meetings at Adams High School. We meet in the CAD room on weekdays and Saturdays. The CAD room provides us with a great area to build, meet, and eat (our least efficient team members do only the last). Our main mentor, Warren Hildebrandt, is nearly always present at these meetings, as well as our 'mom' Grace Drummer and as many team members who can possibly join us. Even team members not on the build team, such as ones involved in programming, marketing, or chairman's will often attend, occasionally giving the team a hand with the robot, as well as continuing their unique duties.
