The continued success of Team 245 has attracted many students from both Rochester Adams and Stoney Creek High Schools. After lobbying for a team to be formed at Stoney Creek High School for many years, the AdamBots were finally successful for the 2015 FIRST season!

The AdamBots are currently assisting the new team to build their first robot, transport students, mentor both students and mentors and establish themselves. Currently, our build space, equipment, and materials are being shared with the Stoney Creek team. Stoney Creek students who are currently on the AdamBots team are allowed to remain with the AdamBots, while new students from Stoney Creek may join the new team at Stoney Creek High School. This approach ultimately allows more students to participate in FIRST at both high schools.

The CyberCats first competed in the Howell District, along with the AdamBots, and received the Rookie-All-Star Award, immediately qualifying them for the Michigan State Championship. They were also selected by the 2nd seed alliance at that event, and made it to the quarter-finals! This surpassed both theirs and our expectations for such a young team, and we’re very proud of them. The CyberCats next competed at the Troy District, and received the Imagery Award, while competing in the quarter-finals once again. The CyberCats traveled with the AdamBots to the Michigan State Championships to deliver their Rookie-All-Star Award presentation
