On December 6th, the AdamBots joined FRC team 201, the FEDS, in walking in the Rochester Christmas parade. The students repurposed demonstration robots donated from police department to walk with the team as snowmen.

Holiday Shopping for Rochester Neighborhood House

The AdamBots adopted families for the holidays by purchasing Christmas gifts for them. Students went shopping to purchase gifts for the community members. Giving tree through Rochester area house.

FIRST/STEM Outreach The AdamBots feel that it is very important to give back to our community, especially through inspiring young students to take an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) as well as robotics. Our team encourages students in robotics by mentoring FTC teams, two Jr. FLL teams, and one FLL team. Pictured above are the RoboGeeks, the FLL team that the AdamBots mentor.

Kindergarten to 3rd Grade

During the fall semester the AdamBots work in partnership with B.A.S.E.S ( Before and After School Enrichment Services) of the Rochester Community Schools to offer two programs. For k-2 students, the AdamBots offer a pre-FLL afterschool class  teaching students about teamwork, simple machines, and STEM education using Lego. The high school students are the lead in these classes providing instruction and mentoring to the younger students.

3rd to 5th Grade

In partnership with the Rochester Community Schools BASES program, the AdomBots sponsor and mentor the RoboGeeks FLL Team 8872 from Long Meadow Elementary School . We meet after school at Long Meadow and in the evenings at the high school AdamBots build room. The AdomBots student provide mentoring.
