Since I went to West Middle School, the majority of my friends went to Rochester High School instead of Adams. I joined the AdamBots because I was interested in robotics, but also to meet new people.

What is your favorite memory from robotics?

I don’t think I can pick a single favorite team memory. Build season is hectic, yet fun, and competition season is amazing.

What have you learned from being on the team?

I have learned so much about applied leadership from robotics and also how good teamwork is essential for us to succeed.

What is special about FIRST?

FIRST taught me that you don’t have to be a pro in order to have an impact and learn something new. I joined the team without knowing how to use any power tools or anything about robotics, and the team has taught me all that and more. FIRST exposed me to the world of engineering and robotics.
