AdamBots Team 245

Philip Wolschendorf

Year you started mentoring the team: 2016

Sub-Teams: Controls and Programming

What are 2 fun facts about you?

I am originally from Germany.
I really enjoy the outdoors and activities such as camping, hiking, and swimming.

Why did you join the Adambots?

I was recruited to mentor because I had done robotics in college. This allows me to continue to be involved with robotics. Adams also happens to be my old high school.

What is your favorite memory from robotics?

I just started so I don’t have too many memories, but I would say the general enthusiasm of the students is my favorite part.

What have you learned from being on the team?

I have learned a lot about the FIRST build process and the constraints that are faced.

Do you have any tips for the current AdamBots?

What is something you would have wanted to do differently to reach where you are today? (career-wise or to get to the AdamBots)

What is special about FIRST?

FIRST truly provides real-world STEM experience for high-schoolers.
