What is special about FIRST?

FIRST is special since it works on several levels.  It works for the Mentors by providing them an opportunity to exercise and share their skills while in pursuit of interesting and challenging task.  And it works for the Students by creating an environment that allows them learn new skills and apply themselves to the fullest of their ability in a process that is full on duplicate of how projects work in the business world.  All this wrapped up in a game that truly is the hardest fun you will ever have.
