What are 2 fun facts about you?

I play the flute and piccolo and have won fourteen different awards for playing them.
I am also apiphobic, which means I am severely afraid of bees.

Why did I join the AdamBots?

I joined the AdamBots because I had several alumni members tell me how much fun they had on the team.  I was also told that joining the team was a good way to make many new friends.  In addition to those reasons, I love math and science, so I figured it would be an activity that would not boring to participate in.

What is my favorite memory from robotics?

My favorite memory from robotics would probably be my first day on the Digital Media team.  I thought for sure I would not be very useful on this team and would feel out of place.  As it turns out I have made most of my friends that are on the team because I joined Digital Media.   Everybody was very welcoming and now I can’t imagine participating in robotics without being in that sub-group.

What have I learned from being on the team?

I have really learned what it means to be a team by being in robotics.  Every single person is important and if one person doesn’t do their job, then it affects somebody else.  You can’t just think about yourself and competing in competitions is a multiple person job.

What  is special about FIRST?

All the competitions are amazing at the same time.  You get to experience real world situations in FIRST.
