When my sister was on the team I would come and help out during some of the build days. I really enjoyed coming and pictured myself continuing robotics when I entered high school. So during my sophomore year I decided to join robotics.

What is your favorite memory from robotics?

My favorite memory from being on the team would be when traveled to Myrtle Beach for a regional competition. It gave me a chance to really bond with the team and get to know others.

What have you learned from being on the team?

I have learned how to distribute jobs between people. Being a team leader has given me a chance to learn how to manage my time.

What is special about FIRST?

The competitions are amazing during FIRST. There’s a big difference during OCCRA competitions. You also get the opportunity to work with mentors.
