Build Season 2012 – Week 5 Recap

In the fifth week of our FIRST build season, the Adambots worked frantically in order to beat the fast-approaching deadlines. With only a week left for the website and two for the robot, the Adambots were forced to work faster than ever to meet their robotic goals.

The Marketing and Website Team distributed the new bowling shirts and took team pictures, made new Adambots buttons, made videos, and worked hectically on the wesbite which was due in week 6.

The Animation Team finished hair and drew designs for the clothing.

The Above Chassis Team and Shooter Team started working on the final prototype for the shooter and above chassis sections.

The Simulation Team redid the transmissions and re-chained the ball feed system. They also worked on replicating the shooter.

The CAD Team finished CADding the robot and colored it.

The Programming Team worked further on the camera and on redesigning the controls.

The Systems Team managed to take off some of the robot’s weight, but are stil lworking on slimming the robot down.

The Controls Team worked on the control board and the power source.

The Scouting Team worked on the scouting sheet and worked on online scouting.

The Build Teams ended the week successfully with a test drive of the robot’s chassis that got the robot over the bridge.
